Like most movie trailers this starts out with the usual green screen with white lettering. It shows three 2 second scenes of the zombie walking then it cuts to a long black screen then it cuts back to the zombie walking. At 14 seconds it shows the Summit Entertainment logo then another black screen It shows a lot of clips from the beginning of the movie. Then around 44 seconds they show action scenes. Some of the scenes are faster and others are slower. At 1:22 minutes it says "From Summit Entertainment" in a large font size against a red background. At 1:56 minutes it says "This February" in the same font and style has the last tiling scene. At 2:02 minutes it says" Love" in black against a red background. I was always told the black against red or vice versus was hard to read. The black doesn't stand out as much as the white, but it's still readable because of the size and font choice.At 2:07 it says "Makes Us Human." At 2:17 it says" Warm Bodies" in a bigger font than the previous tilting. Then it shows another scene it then cuts back to the release date tilting at 2:28 minutes.
I know that this movie trailer shows scenes from the very beginning, the middle, and the end. I think the timing of all of the clips are good. This movie trailer has slow and fast clips. This is a well-put together movie trailer. It has dialogue and background music. The background music changes according to the scene. This movie trailer uses various transitions like a long black pause, going to the next scene, and a quick black flash. I like that the don't over use the long black pauses. They used that only a few times. The tilting font, size, and color, fits perfectly with the theme of this movie. I saw this movie in theaters and on DVD and I love it.
