I'm not sure who made it this trailer, but I know it's from Columbia Pictures. It's a 1:40 minutes long. It starts out with a green screen with information on it for 5 seconds then it shows a black screen then it shows the Columbia pictures logo then it goes into another black screen that starts the movie trailer. At 11 seconds it says "From Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment." At 13-35 seconds there is a guy that is talking overtop of different scenes. It shows a couple of 1-2 seconds scenes that are broken up by 3 black pauses between them. Around 44 seconds it starts to go faster and they show some action scenes. At 57 seconds it shows a black screen with "Tommy Lee Jones" in white letters, at 1:01 minutes it shows a black screen with "Will Smith" in white letters, and at 1:13 minutes it shows another black screen with "A Film by Berry Sonnenfeld." It gets faster towards the end. There is another guy talking at the end when they show the MIB logo and the 2 guys coming out of the logo. I think guy in the beginning and the guy at the end are two different guys talking. The guy at the end says" Men In Black.. Protecting the Earth from the Scum of the Universe" and there is also music towards the end. The music started at 1:12 minutes. At the end they showed 2 black screens with information and then they showed another black screen that said "Summer" for 2 seconds.
This trailer used different transitions between scenes, like a quick black flash, a slow black wipe, and no transition. I think they should have showed more scenes from the movie, like from different parts of the movie. They basically showed 3 different scenes. This trailer seemed short. I liked the beginning of the trailer though. I think this trailer could be improved, but it was made in 1997.
