Transformers 3 Full Movie Trailer

This is the Transformers 3 Dark of the Moon Trailer. It is 2:31 minutes long, so it's a full length trailer. It is slow in the beginning and has long black pauses between each scene. From the start of the trailer to about 57 seconds the scenes are 2-3 seconds long. At 30 seconds they show a scene from inside a giant under ground building and they have a voice over during that scene. The next scene at 33 seconds actually shows the lady talking to the guy. There is some tilting in this trailer. At 36 seconds they show the Paramount logo for about 2 seconds. The beginning of the trailer shows scenes that doesn't have action in them, but show more of the places.

"From Director Michael Bay" pops up against a black background for about 1-2 seconds at 56 seconds. Then there is a 5 second long clip and another title comes up that says "And Executive Producer Steven Spielberg" Both of the titling has the same color and font.

At 1:10 minutes the scenes get faster and most of them are action/fighting scenes. These scenes do not have any transition between them. At 1:17 minutes a titling scene comes up the says "On 7.1.11" It has the same font and color as the previous titling scenes, but the font size is bigger. They have a scenes that show from 1-4 seconds. Most of the scenes are action scenes and some show people talking or a place. These scenes either have a quick black flash or no transition. Starting at 2:22 minutes and ending at 2:24 minutes they show the name of the movie, which is Transformers slowing transforming into the movie name. It also has the full name of the movie and the director's name. They show the release date of the movie next, which is 7.1.11. Then they show 4 titling scenes in a row that say the production names, visual effects and animation, music by, executive producers, based on, written by, and directed by. These titling scenes are about 1 second long. It's not enough time to read the words, but they never give people enough time to read it because it's not that important to the audience.

I liked the timing and transitions in this movie trailer. This trailer has a good balance of fast and slow scenes. The beginning of the trailer had a slow and calm feel compared to the action packed and fast feel towards the end of the trailer. The makers of this trailer did a good job of transitioning the beginning and end of the trailer to make the audience have that different feelings. The long black transitions worked well in the beginning of the trailer and the scenes without a transition worked well towards the middle/end. Starting around 1:05 minutes till the end of the trailer I felt a lot of suspense, which is a good thing. All of the titling had the same design language. If someone sees the same tilting used somewhere else (like a poster, cut-out, internet, etc.) they would probably put 2 and 2 together and figure out that the titling belongs the movie Transformer 3. That's called a design language and every movie trailer usually has it's own. This movie trailer definitely makes me want to go see it in theaters.
