http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VQ_3sBZEm0 Learn to Fly by Foo Fighters. This music video is 4: 36 minutes long.
This is a very funny music video. I have listen to this song many times and I have never seen the music video. Jack Black is in this music video. The band members play themselves as well as other roles including woman roles (all of the band members are guys).
I like that there is a introduction before the music video starts. The characters are really funny. The costume of each character makes it believable. It takes place on an airplane.
This music video didn't have any of the band members singing in it expect for when the passengers were watching a concert on the t.v.'s above the seat. I like when the "girl" taps on one of the band members shoulder while he is sleeping so she could get his autograph. The flight attendants are serving everybody coffee, but the coffee is actually "World Domination Erotic Sleeping Powder." They also show a few scenes outside of the airplane where the airplane is taking off. Some of the people are talking in the music video, but you can't hear them. The "coffee" is effective people and everybody is acting weird and crazy. The pilots are having a hard time flying the plane because the coffee made them not think straight and have hallucinations. The plane loses control and the pilots can't fly the plane anymore, so the band members step in. While the band members are trying to figure out how to land the plane the woman flight attended pulls out a instruction manual that says "Learn to Fly." That's the name of the song. I think that's a clever way to put the title of the song into the music video without it being that noticeable. The band members successfully land the plane and the people who put drugs in the coffee got arrested. Towards the end they had scenes from a Foo Fighter concert singing the song. I don't know if I like the music video going back and forth between the airplane and the concert. They only do it a few times, so it doesn't bother me that much.
This was a interesting and creative music video. It told a story in less than 5 minutes. I like how 90% of the music video was the story and not people actually singing the song in a music video. The actors and the costumes made this video come to life. I also like how they slipped the title of the song into the video by using a manual, I thought that was clever. I didn't notice that the first time, but I did the second time. The scenes flowed nicely together expect for the real concert scenes. I liked out they made the concert look like it was on the t.v. screen on the airplane.
