http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OsUKjlOx5Zk "Who Sees The Real You?- Man On The Street" This is another video by Soul Pancake. This video is 2:40 minutes long.
This video has the same style has the last Soul Pancake video. I can tell it was made by the same person. At the beginning of the video there is text at the bottom of the screen that says "Who sees the real me?" It is in the same font as the previous video (handwritten font). It starts out with a man in the center of the screen standing in front a body of water and some buildings. The guy says "Who sees the real me? very slowing. Then it shows 8 different people standing there and thinking about the question. Around 13 seconds is when the first person answers the question. He shows a zoomed-out and a zoomed-in angle of the couple. He shows 12 more people. They are a mix of women and men of different age groups. They are all answering the same question, some have the same answers and other have different answers. The people who talk longer than others will have a zoomed in shot of their face and a zoomed-out shot from the waist up. The people who are talking are in focus and the background, which includes the landscape and a few people walking by are out of focus. The very last guy that they interview has a completely different answer than everyone else. His answer is that everyone sees the real him. The it cuts to a black screen that says "Who sees the real you?" in white text. The words are up for about 5 seconds then it fades to black. The last 30 seconds are the same Soul Pancake logo and videos and it says subscribe.
I really like this video. The camera is very steady and the shots are very clear. I noticed that all of the people have a small black microphone attached to the top of their shirts. I am guessing that these people are completely random and they are pulled off the street. There were probably asked if they wanted to be apart of this film. I like the different camera angles. They isn't any point of view angles, but I don't think there needs to be. Having a close-up and far away shot of the people are enough camera angles for the purpose of this short story. I think it's funny how they saved the one guy for the last scene. I am sure they did that one purpose. There is music playing the whole time, but it is low. I think the choice of music fits the piece. The video would have a different feeling if there wasn't music playing.
