http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmBTytmBBy0 This is Adam Levine interview & lap- Big Star in a Small Care- Top Gear USA Series 2. It is 5:59 minutes long. I'm assuming that Top Gear made this video.
This video starts off by the interviewer saying, "Our celebrity today is Adam Levine." Everyone is outside around the race track. Adam and the interviewer talk for a little bit then Adam gets in the car (red Suzuki). At 30 seconds they show a quick black screen with the Top Gear logo then it cuts to Adam inside of the car. He starts racing at 36 seconds and ends at 1:30 minutes. It cusses a lot in the car because he's mad, so there are a lot of beeping noises (I think it's funny). The interviewer is talking while Adam is driving. Once Adam gets into the studio, he walks to the chair shakes hands with the interviewer and sits down. The first questions the interviewer ask is, "I wanna know how you got into cars" since he is a musician and on the voice. My favorite part is at 2:22 minutes when the interviewer asks, "Your first car was what?" And Adam responds with, "My first car was a 1971 Mach 1 Mustang." They show various camera angles in this video. The show a far away shot of the studio and all of the people in the studio, a close-up shot of Adam, a close-up shot of the interviewer, high angle shot of the studio and low angle shot of the 2 people talking. Adam and the interviewer go back and forth asking questions and responding. They show the audience reactions. Sometimes they laugh and sometimes they clap. They also show reactions of the interviewer and Adam. At 5:41 minutes the interviewer says, "You guys let's give Adam a hand, come on." It ends with a high angle shot of the studio with people clapping and then a close-up shot of Adam smiling. Then it shows a black screen that shows the BBC Worldwide logo.
I really liked this interview. I like how the interviewer introduce Adam in the beginning and how he told people to give him a hand at the end. They showed Adam racing the car in the beginning, but they didn't reveal his race time until the end of the interview. They used various camera angles, which made this video look good and it kept my interest. I liked how the showed different angles and zoom of the people and of the studio. The camera was steady the whole time. The interviewer asked some good questions too. Adam seemed to answer honestly and he was funny. It was good that the interviewer was talking while Adam was driving so the audience wasn't just watching Adam drive and cuss for a minute. Both Adam and the interviewer had good facial expressions and used their hands to talk. This was a very interesting and entertaining interview.
